We donate a portion of our profit each year to reforestation efforts through One Tree Planted (onetreeplanted.org). In 2020 we supported an initiative to restore the landscape in British Columbia after the Hanceville fire burned over 590,000 acres in 2017 and natural regeneration had not occurred. In the following years, we have supported efforts to support local communities in India with fruit tree planting, as well as reforestation efforts in Florida (where our company is based), to benefit the rich diversity of pine forests, wetlands and ecosystems.
Wee Gallery partners only with manufacturers that will abide by a code of conduct that includes ecologically and socially sustainable practices. They must agree to pay their workers a fair wage and provide good working conditions. Among our global partners are our paper product manufacturer is ISO 9000 certified and consistently earns industry awards for good overall practices, as well as our textiles factory in India, which is a GOTS-certified manufacturer of organic cotton textiles.
