Wee Gallery Touch and Feel: Tails

The illustrations in this book are beautiful—which is why I purchased it in the first place—but the textures are petty disappointing. Only three of the six animals actually have textured tails (the seahorse, beaver, and whale). I suppose the lemur’s black-and-white tail is still interesting to look at it, but for a touch-and-feel book the variety of textures is underwhelming. Why, of all animals, is the squirrel’s “soft and fluffy” tail just printed and not furry?
