When I freed the puzzle pieces open from their plastic wrap I got a good wiff of the paint smell and thought after a few days of airing it out it would go away; it didn’t. The worse part is that the smell from the paint transfers and all of my baby’s silks and fabric storage bin smell like the puzzle pieces. I was annoyed and angry because I had the choice of buying this puzzle over another one with similar mechanics. Not happy with the purchase and the return process was helpful.

A great Montessori toy
I love the wee gallery brand, and the aesthetic is always very chic for baby toys. I think the age range could be younger considering the stacking skill starts earlier than two, but a good toy for toddlers to learn with regardless. I gave one star less because the box came a bit torn and the plastic wrapping around the toy was opened as well. The wood pieces are a nice quality wood and are not flimsy wood pieces.

Neutral and functional !
Finally, a neutral stacking toy for my little one. We originally had a bright rainbow, colorful version of this for my now almost 7-year-old. I don’t love the bright colors and apparently my little one also did not either. I was excited to find this one in more neutral colors that matches my decor and my little one seems to love this one more. No sharp edges and great quality highly recommend.
